Earth and Sky

Poem

Hold a group of meadow grasses
Up against a clear blue sky;
You may search the wide world over,
But you never will discover
A more perfect harmony,
Than a group of meadow grasses,
Brown and purple meadow grasses,
Touched by every wind that passes,
Held against a soft blue sky.
