September 23, 2012 Buckthorn Removal

Invasive Plant Patrol co-coordinator Liz Anderson reports: "Jim Proctor and I led the first of three buckthorn events last Sunday the 23th.  We had a large enthusiastic group who kept eleven weed wrenches busy for two hours." This project is located in buffer zone around the Garden. Buckthorn within the Garden was removed by past efforts of Garden staff and volunteers on workdays such as this. The Garden staff and legacy volunteers now Buckthorn under control within the Garden.
